Another Isle of Wight landscape with the trusty 28 Summaron-M and Portra 400 combination. Limerstone Down (my destination) in the distance.

Compton Bay is one of the best beaches in England IMO and suitably popular. However, if you arrive at about 5.30am you get the whole beach to yourself. The town of Freshwater Bay in the distance is just starting to catch the sun as it rises above the downs.

Sublime color Ian

In picture 1 : color of the grass , the hill and the shadow great composition and great color

In picture 2 : color of sand , cliffs and sky are beautiful ... I don't say that with digital believe me

Thank you for posting Ian

Beautiful landscapes

Leica M6  and Leica R6 with 21mm Super Angulon,  21mm Elmarit M, 28mm Elmarit M, 35mm Summicron M, 35mm Elmarit R and 50mm Summicron M.

Film was Kodak TRI-X in D76 stock.

Paul great picture with probably the 50 Summicron

First the skin is superb , you can see distinctly "pores" of skin

Secondly the definition of hair and beard are also impressive

Finally , very nice portrait must be print

@ all of You: this is the second time the thread tells me I reached my "thanks" limit for today... so You know why I could not put "thanks" under many beautiful pictures.

Paul: Your series are overwhelming. But Brendan, Ian, Henry , fotomas, philipus and all: great great pictures !!!

@ Henry: - I only have some 120 rolls of that Agfa film, I do not know if it existed in 35mm...  But the Kodak Gold 200 I find in the neighbourhood shop is not that bad, actually. I like it.

Sunflowers I shot the other day. Leica IIIf, 1930s Elmar 3.5. Kodak Gold 200
