Dear all,

I just discovered this thread thanks to my friend "Doc Henry". What a lot of beautiful photos !

I use a Leica M6 TTL since 3 years after using a Leica R5 during 5 years). As I also use a Leica M8 and a Leica Q, I don't shoot a lot with my analogue camera (I am ashamed but I only used about 5 or 6 rolls during the 3 last years).

I love my Leica M6 TTL but I meet difficulties for the scan and the post traitment. But Heny encourages me to persevere and when I see all the your images I think he is right !

Welcome to the forum, wonderful images, keep shooting.

Gary

... Gary is right "keep shooting" , specially with beautiful pictures like here Tiberius

... and I agree with Gary's comment. Wonderful color of Ektar and  well framed

M6 is a great camera !

Welcome to our thread ... another comments on these two pictures are also welcome

Tiberius search the most beautiful picture with his equipment Q and M8 ... and I said

him "you have it" with film  for faithful color , it's the reference without any doubt IMO

Thanks for posting and if you have more please post :)

Best regards

Henry

Tiberius , great pictures with Kodak TX and Portra (I think 400 ?)

Sold this Camera, as I didn´t want to invest in a cmplete new system.

But it had a great finder and was a joy to use.

Tiberius - welcome. I am similar. It's been a while since i have shot some film (although I did recently in July). I'm trying to get back into it and concentrate less on digital. I still shoot and appreciate some of the advantages of digital, but in the end it's the aesthetics of film that has more impact for me.

How do you like the Q? I have both X1 and X2...bought them both used for very good prices  - X2 (hardly used) for $250 just last week in fact! The previous owner bought the Q. I also bought the X1 from the same person a few years ago. It came with 2 cases and the 35mm optical shoe mount finder. So at this rate I can expect the Q in a couple years for a really good price

I recently did a shoot with the H50 Hasselblad, and it's a beast of a camera in tech and spec, wifi sent images right to an iPad for evaluating in the field, etc...but to be honest, it left me a bit cold in shooting. I guess if I did regular commercial shoots, it would be my tool of choice, but I enjoy the tactile experience with mechanical analog film cameras more.
