Two of the same scene, albeit at very different times of day, gives a good comparison of relative views of 38mm/80mm.

The first with Rolleiflex/Portra 400, second with SWC/M and Provia 400X

Under the Avocado tree

Wow, chalk and cheese Richard.

Contrary to Henry, I prefer the first one, softer, less harsh.

Bodes well for me thinking to take the Portra 400 next month.

Both are nice but..........

"Both are nice but"..........the fisrt picture is more vintage Gary :)

I agree ...   in conclusion , sensor cannot have this effect , must change the camera  :)

to have 2 pictures or pass time to correct in  Light Room :)

These are terrific. Very effective use of both the Rolleiflex (not everyone's first choice of landscape camera) and the film.

The tide was out when I arrived, and I managed to scramble round a couple of headlands to get to that point. Sadly the tide did what tides do, and going back I had to paddle over wet slimy rocks that were very slippery. I kept the camera dry, but it will be a while before the sprained hip and torn hamstrings let me try it again. :(
