I've always liked the muted and somewhat unpredictable colours of this film.

Looks good here,

I recall they mention the treatment of red as a highlight of the emulsion; I agree with them. In my experience, even thought it is ISO 100, it should be treated like very low ISO film as far as the amount of sunlight needed to make it work. I took some shots in somewhat shaded areas and was disappointed in the result.

Great effect "at the right moment" when I see the father and his son

and some people behind "frozen" in the time. Nice and vintage color Wayne

Thank you, Henry. Additionally, it represents an attempt to replicate, for the busy city person, the solitude and simplicity of rural life. To complete the picture we need a skunk, raccoon, or possibly an opossum lurking in the weeds.........Maybe some ticks and flying insects as well. Do you have ticks in France? :)

I'd venture a guess that SA means Eastman Kodak Double-X or 5222 as I lazily call it. It's a wonderful film.

Thanks, that is indeed it, Double-X. ("XX" lets you be even lazier. :) )

I'm seeing so many digital images with identical, higher contrast look I've made Double-X my shout back,

That's wonderful. Including the processing.

Do you mind sharing how you developed it? Thanks.
