Stunning! Like how the stumps are holding up the skyscrapers. :)

In my neck of the woods we have houses held up like that called Queenslanders.

Many thanks, Henry and Hardster.

Hardster - Love the vision you put in my mind.  Thanks for the enlightenment.

that's nice, Neil.  I might consider reducing the exposure by a half or full stop.  Perhaps it is a personal preference thing but  I find the high EVs in the top left section a bit distracting.  My eye wants to be drawn to the right hand with the popping tree leaves and lovely reflection, and then to go deeper to enjoy the bridge.  But the extra light tones on the top left quadrant are tapping me on the should in a rather irritating way.

Btw, I can't believe you posted that video of you on the bike on FB.  What were you thinking?  It was like watching a 5 year old take his first ride without the training wheels, except it wasn't - it was YOU.  I nearly fell out of my chair!! LOL

Neil, these are really lovely - perfect subjects for 8X10. Further to what Adam said, and thinking back a few images to your burning and dodging experiments, why not try burning in those highlighted leaves a bit? Give them maybe a gradual 1.5X - 2X exposure around (in the second picture) the edges from about half way down to the entire length of the top of the picture. I'd say that might work pretty well?

Hopefully these examples won't shatter that vision but only enhance it. :D
