Henry, this would have been with the adaptor at the 0.5m closest focussing distance. I probably racked the lens to closest focus position and moved my head to obtain the exact focus. The nuance and the palette of green color of the wings are certainly due in part to the quality of the 90mm lens and also the photographer who has chosen the right time to take the picture. philipus Posted June 8, 2017 Share #34058 Posted June 8, 2017 The central station in Stockholm has something popularly called 'the ring', which is a 7m circular hole in the groundfloor floor that opens up to the level below and the walkway towards the big underground station. The ring is the station's main meeting point. Waiting for a friend I shot a few frames because I liked how the strong light from the skylight above illuminated the people below and the sharp shadows cast by the ring. I haven't colour balanced them so well yet, but individually I think each one is pretty cool.
