Again, Adam, I feel compelled to say that your use of the SWC is exemplary. This series would look so brilliant printed huge, mounted and displayed together in a gallery - the changing moods of the vista of the city. Is this taken from the New Jersey side?

Thanks, Phil.  Really appreciate it.  I figured that if I shoot enough my odds of getting a keeper will increase! :)

Yes, it's on the Jersey side.  I am happy to take you there free of charge anytime you want. (LOL)  We can conduct our own workshop! :)

El Gato must have blinked...........Crafty devil!

There are so many intriguing details in many of your pictures, Wayne - for instance, the picture in the window in front of the crazy floral curtains. Good to see that stray cat is avoiding eye contact, too.

Sue and I are planning (maybe) on going to Boston in June, but unfortunately I don't think NYC will be on our itinerary - this time. I think a few hundred posts ago you said something outrageous like offering to buy coffees, so I'm still keen to take you up on that.

For Steve Walton, who can add  "think cool" to his "think warmth" spiel about when to use Ektar :)

Steve - perhaps you can now charge double for your workshops, since people can apply your advice not only to warm but also cool situations? ;)

Thank you for the comment. I get considerable inspiration from this thread. I am deeply grateful to all who contribute.

I was thinking of Ian (Wattsy) when I took the shot below.

1. A while back, he posted a shot of an old tire, along with a humorous comment on the subject

2. He was gracious enough to to respond, fully, on a question I PMed about concerning his 90 Macro-Elmar, inspiring me to purchase the Collapsible Elmar, to try out the physical characteristics/advantages of such a lens. I am pretty happy with it, and think I may go for the Macro-Elmar, combine it with the 50 Summicron DR,  28 5.6 Summaron (LTM,) M3, and call it a kit.

Got my first test shot roll back from the lab. So far everything seems to work with the Minilux :)
