Thanks Henry. Yes, I haven't tweaked the colour on either particularly much but will do that before I put them on my site.

No, no war that I know of. This was an international staff exercise where officers from some 20+ nations train in a fictitious NATO-led force operating in a crisis response operation. It's extremely interesting and quite challenging, particularly with respect to the applicable law, which is what I work with as LEGAD.

Hello film friends,

Apologies for the radio silence. It's been difficult to follow the thread as I've been at a military exercise in Sweden for two weeks and only came out of uniform on Friday. Had a great time but alas no chance to do much photography.

This thread really moves, I had some 900+ notifications. I can report that there is, actually (and annoyingly), a limit to how many 'thanks' one can give in a day. Going through the thread I received a message after a while that I had met the quota.

I'm also happy to see the inner flower photographer coming out in several of us, some great and very inspiring floral pix have been posted, in addition to heaps of other great shots of course.

Here are two for now, both with the 80 Planar and extension rings.

best

Philip

Welcome back, Philip!

I'm glad to see that it isn't just me who blows their "Thanks" quota. Brings a new meaning to "I can't thank us enough..."

Nice color of street photos of BKK , in spite of bad light and with your Cinestill 800 film

have a nice rendering .

Refreshing color in picture 1

Edward have you tasted Mango with sticky rice (picture 2) ? it's delicious

Thanks for sharing

Henry

Thank you Henry! I think Cinestill is ok, but I will probably stick in the future to Kodak/Fuji.

Curiously I'm not a big fan of mango with sticky rice. I really like Thai food but not the desserts. Durian would be an exception though :D

Thank you Eoin, it feels great to be back. I miss this thread. It's easily the best place for film photography on all of the internet.

Traveling thoughts by JM__, on Flickr

The first exposure was the portrait shot in Rio de Janeiro with a M6 and a 35 Summilux on I believe Portra 160 now BW converted, I then rewound the unfinished film to have the M6 checked by the photographed camera technician.

Forgot about it and reloaded the film into a Ricoh GR21 then took the second exposure in Sydney by the Opera House a few weeks later .

I notice that your pictures has a better and nice rendering in black and also in white Gary

The reason may be from you new lens or Kodalith Ortho film  ?

That's the question
