Doc Henry Posted April 26, 2017 Author Share #31363 Posted April 26, 2017 Very nice, Ian! I especially like the composition in the 1st shot. The Palladian bridge at Prior Park. And view from the bridge I agree with Edward , very nice and soft color, really refreshing for eyes reproducing quiet places. The framing of your pictures has a particular finger-print Great series Ian and thank you Regards Henry

Doc Henry Posted April 26, 2017 Author Share #31365 Posted April 26, 2017 (edited) Thank you for posting the comparison, Henry! I feel that Tmax has a richer tonality, while TX looks more "primitive", less refined. No wonder it has been the film of choice for reportage and documentary photography for decades. It does suit the purpose very well. For that shot in particular, I prefer Tmax, but if it was a gritty portrait of some old man in a forgotten tribe in the amazon jungle, I'm sure I would prefer TX Edward, I think each style has his film .This is what makes the richness of the film and its quality unlike to the sensor Both Kodak TMAX 400 or TX400 are great film and as I said you above "Each new film is a new sensor" that's why film is great and people do not say it enough Thank you for your advice Best Henry Edited April 26, 2017 by Doc Henry

Doc Henry Posted April 26, 2017 Author Share #31371 Posted April 26, 2017 Very nice greens, Henry. Thank you for your comment Eoin I have a slight preference for the Tri-X. A bit more texture. Yes as I said to Edward Kodak TMAX or TX are both great films. When you purchase a M-A Leica gives you a roll of Kodak TX It's not a lightly choice ! it's desired Leica must remember that Kodak is the designer of MM1 Best Henry
