After seeing your shots with this camera I've had a look on ebay too expensive for me

I was fortunate in that my wife thought I deserved it (although she treated herself a trip to Japan to pick it up, so maybe I'm not as great as I thought I was  ).

Konica_Hexar_TMax400.jpg

Thought I was shaking too much during developing but I paid extra care on this last batch....Im very confused :(

Overdeveloped too much agitation, you don't shake it, hold tank in your hand rock it sideway and back up 4 times every minute then tap on table to get rid of bubbles

Apart from the issues with the dark intrusions, I like the photo, Jonnyboy. What is your methodology in developing? Is it just 1 film?

is 2 roll at the time in Ilfosol 3.

I didnt mean 'shake it'....my bad...I was literally rotating in a VERY delicate way! Also I developed for 6min, as shown on the Dev app

What film ? how often did you agitate ? I agitate for first 30 seconds then invert 4 times every minute

Hard to tell, but could possibly be the fixer. Is the negative fully transparent or is there a milky stain left?

If it's not absolutely clear your fix may be gone. Then fix it again with a fresh one.

I agree. I roll and twist the tank slowly once every minute, at about 1 second per roll / twist, followed by a couple of taps on a hard surface.

These just few shots I could save from the latest messed up rolls.... I've been shooting with a Konica Hexar AF....Loving it, the camera feels like a ninja, very impressed. Even when shooting straight against the sun (pic 2).

All shot with Kodak TMax400

Not sure how to describe this in words, but my inversions (or those that I'll admit to) consist of a rock side-to-side, whilst performing a therapeutic twist (like using a lemon squeezer between 2 hands), ratcheted, so that each rocking motion is on a different orientation of the drum. I start with continuous for 30s, then 3-4 inversions every 1 minute thereafter. They are actually slower than 1 per second, as I can drag a 3-inversion set out to 5 seconds, but I'm sure you get the drift.

I'm generally using R09 at 1:50, and find I need to up the developing time 30 - 50s on the Massive Development spec's to get what I want.

I think it's because we are allowed to post shots from other cameras and not just Leica
