Henry i use Plustek 8200i and vuescan. I then wirelessly transfer the jpeg to my iPhone. From the iPhone a very popular application called Tapatalk resizes my photo and lets me post from my phone. I couldn't post daytimes otherwise. This is my lunchtime. Some others here on forum also use the application. The resizing process is not working well and I have not been happy for a few weeks now, something's changed, or I did not notice before.

I think now I need to find a way to link in photos from flickr which I use as a repository online for all my digital/scanned negatives/photos.

The screen shot I posted is the image enlarged I see of the original on my phone which is much much better and sharper. I can do this easily ... look

The shots I am posting look fuzzy in comparison to the originals.

I need to find a solution quickly. This cannot go on.

Regards

Christopher

and some information here for your future visit in the area not too far from Paris : :)

Philip , you're right when you said that's is four seasons . Each season change in flowers.

The best is to visit at these 4 seasons  :) and the most beautiful is summer for a lot of

flowers like in Monet's time (july and august) .

Hello folks

I just popped in for a quick wave to you all. Reporting from Moulmein, Myanmar.

The trip's going great and we're doing it hard backpacking ... close to the ground, the heat and dust, dirt and smells, colours unreal...

Photographically speaking, absolutely overwhelming!

I think my 28 is jinxed: the focusing ring gummed up after a drenching on a trek in Taman Negara ... It's loosened somewhat after persisting with it at the infinity end.

And if that wasn't enough, I lost the lens cap! It fell out of my pocket when I went to get the mobile phone out, bounced off the rail tracks twice, rolled, swivelled tantalizingly before falling into the river below. My only consolation is that it happened on the bridge over the River Khwae Yai at Kanchaburi, Thailand.

The bridge made famous by the book and the movie of like name directed by David Lean: The Bridge on the River Kwai.

The cameras are going well and I still have a healthy 50mm lens!

Regards, good wishes... until the next post.

Sorry no photos as I just have ones taken with the infernal phone camera.

Thank you, Henry!

Wonderful photos from a legendary place!

I lived for a short while in Paris once, but didn't make it further than Versailles.

I would love to visit Paris again and see Monet's gardens as well!

Pontiac, to say uncommon in the UK would be a considerable understatement.

ORWO N74, Pyrocat HD 1:1:100  17min Semi-Stand, V850, Nikon S2, 5cm f1.4 Nikkor SC

I thought leaving the frame edge as scanned added something of the feel of the shots a bit "America" / Robert Frank perhaps?

Christopher, to link to a photo hosted on Flickr, click the down arrow icon (lower right of an image) and select "View all sizes", for instance this link on your Flickr. Then select the size you want to post here at LUF (the max allowed is 1024px methinks), right-click and select Copy image address (or the equivalent on Windows) and paste that address into the Image field (the icon looks like a Polaroid).

I think now I need to find a way to link in photos from flickr which I use as a repository online for all my digital/scanned negatives/photos.

Very nice photos Brendan, in particular no. 2.

Looks a bit like Manneken Pis (but bigger :D )

The so-called Monument to Multiculturalism in Toronto. I had the impression I might get wet if I stood there any longer.

I like the frame Chris. And both are good photos. Seems Michael Knight is on a UK tour.

I think I have a solution! Thank you Philip! I can download an image less than 1000kb now and post it. Might as well say it - i'm now a paid up member and no longer restricted to less than 500kb. I think the small size images were awful. These look much sharper as attached files at the correct size downloaded from flickr to my phone and then posted.
