:)

These shots are great, Adam - I'm glad you got the financing for a sequel. I like the way the flash makes the snow look more 'flurried'.

Really great colors, Philip.

Some more of our fairly photogenic feline friends. I wonder how the male got that really quite long scar between his eyes.

I should add that I haven't finalised the colour balancing on my wildlife photos.

The first picture, in particular, is wonderful. An example of a decisive moment - you pressed the button at a right moment. I was recently in the Masai Mara, and there was talk of a male lion known as Scarface (a result of altercations with other local tough guys). I wonder if this is him.

As vaguely promised a week or two ago, I have continued to abuse XP2. Today's effort was to expose it at 1600 and guess the development time, and since yesterday, I used 10 minutes for ISO400, I used the rule of thumb that a 1/3 increase in time compensates for 1 stop of underexposure, and developed this for 18 minutes in 1+49 HC-110. I am amazed at the lack of grain!

It looks like 3200 might be possible if I can bring myself to sit and agitate each minute for 24 minutes!

And finally, from my Sunday morning walk with the Semflex and TriX...... A place for the discerning drinker, who prefers a bit of integrity in fellows.

Sorry about the light leak. I forgot to close the cover for the ruby window.

Wayne, have you tried the close up attachments with the Semflex ?

Thanks for sharing your photos !

I know that most you fine Leica folks are now shooting with the latest and greatest "digital" Leica equipment but I thought that you might enjoy some of my "film" images taken with Leica M and R cameras over the past few years.

Here is a link to my 500px site:

Here is a sample image - I call it MudFlats on Fire. It was taken on the Fraser river here in Vancouver British Columbia with the Leica M4-P and the 21 mm. Super Angulon (a legendary lens indeed).

What makes you think that??  I haven't touched a digital camera in about 3 years now!

You are among film friends here.  Just please just post the photos directly here rather than links.

This photos is very dynamic.  I love the foreground, which looks to be on fire.  The sky looks a little odd to me, particularly on the upper right side.  Not sure how this effect was obtained.  having said this, the color palette is really lovely.

What film was used here?  Velvia 50?

I saw this on another thread, and initially thought it almost looks digital/HDR.

It's nice, really weird colours, but nice.

Took a look at your 500px site pics and see quite a few from this side of the globe too, especially liked the "Center on NZ" shot, I know the location well, grew up there.

Welcome to the best thread on the forum.

I have just recently learned of the attachment. There is not much information on these wonderful Semflex TLR cameras. I am not certain which attachments will work with which model. I now have cameras with both the 3.5 and 4.5 Berthiot lens.

Thanks for your comment.
