gbealnz Posted February 12, 2017 Share #28181 Posted February 12, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I agree. Here's my coastline last Friday lunchtime. Call it a lunchtime escape- never mind the weather I needed out! R9 & 28-70 in hand it had to be Aberavon Beach for pie and chips at Franco's and dash back to the office. So these shots from my 20 minute dash from the car and back. And back to work. Sorry no food shots- I ate it before thinking! Regards Christopher Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Wow, markedly different "beach" shots, yours and mine. Very moody. Gary

philipus Posted February 13, 2017 Share #28191 Posted February 13, 2017 Excellent, J-M, very cool abstract. Cidade das Artes by JM__, on Flickr I like the framing a lot with the small houses and the dominant sand flat. And for such a grainy sky the tonality in the foreground is impressively delicious. Leica M6TTL 35 Summicron Ballyholme Beach N.Ireland, Low Tide untitled-27.jpg The second one is truly stunning Henry. Thanks Adam nice , soft and peaceful color Some macro pictures of flowers , less romantic than Adam R8 -Vario Elmar 35-70 Asph-Kodak Portra 160 flow (ht) lfht++red900-.jpg What a coincidence, we went swan watching yesterday. Just handed in the rolls today so we'll see if any pix came out. After my stressful week of Certification audit last week and having completed my family duties I escaped again for a walk around a local lake which has quite a few swans. All of which are crown property here in the UK and are protected by law. After Adams use of flash for street photography I thought I would experiment with it too, but yesterday outside at 3pm, 2 hours before it starts getting dark now. My first film was Fujicolor Superior X-TRA 400. I have never used it before, so it added to the excitement, but I had just a few shots left. This with the R9, 28-70 & Metz 54 MZ-3.This was scanned to TIFF and just saved to jpeg from Apple Preview. Colour setting to Neutral on scanner.RegardsChristopherSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Beautiful Keith, could be from a travel mag. Walking towards the sun. Can't wait to go back! EoinC Posted February 13, 2017 Share #28194 Posted February 13, 2017 Very interesting, Eoin. And useful, too. What was the occasion for doing this? It seems to me that, when pushed two stops, the latitude narrows quite materially. The one stop under seems beyond what I would do intentionally... Hi, Adam. At the end of this week I'm heading down to Australia, and have a photographer pass to shoot at the National Track Cycling Championships at the end of the month. Indoor velodromes tend to have very dim lighting, and the riders are traveling at up to 80kmh. I've shot with Tri-X rated at 400 before, but it's a struggle on 35mm. This time I plan on having the SWC with me, and I wanted to see what sort of results I could expect at 1600 - 3200. This year the racing is at a new velodrome in Brisbane, and may surprise me with Queenslandic light levels, but I'm not counting on it.
