Each of these are quite majestic, Henry. Love the drama in the color photo.

An older one, from my first year with a Leica: colour from Southwestern USA:

p1961600706-5.jpg

Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico 2009

Leica R8, Summicron 50mm, Kodak Ektar

Thanks for this. It is a spectacular photo. I guess part of my fascination is connected to my familiarity and fondness for old pickups: every time I see one I am tempted to shoot. Outstanding eye! :)  I just shot a roll of Fuji 400H; this encourages me to just stick with Ektar.

Really glad to discover such a thread dedicated for Film Photography!!!

Happy to know that I'm not the only fool who still insist in film!

Thanks @gbealnz for recommending to me!

Just went on a MotorBike Trip in Sri Lanka.  Took my M6 Millenium and 40 rolls of Fuji RVP with me.  Here comes are few shots I took in the local market:

First welcome to our thread  :)

No Terence your are not alone, many of us continue to shoot film ...

specially me , my 2 digital cameras sleep deeply in my bag at home ...

and my only companion is now my MP and M7 and in 2017 a M-A :)

Fabulous color Terence of this colored country. I like to look at the expression of people

specially the picture 3. The first with the expression of the 2 gentlemen also is great.

Thanks for posting

Very welcome, Terence. I like the below shot in particular. It's nice also to see another Millennium shooter in our midst.

Thanks, Philip. He was my main "go to" guy for tomatoes... :)

He and i got along wonderfully until one day i stood in front of his red potatoes too long with my swc. Trying to compose a close-up and then he turned on me and got upset for interfering with his business. He didnt have the ounce of business savvy to know that he was bitong off the mouth that fed him bc i must have patronized him with hundreds of dollars during my time there. All i wanted was like five to eight minutes with his red potatoes...

2 is also my favourite, I like to including a shadow of myself when possible

oh yes, and you should see the four-wheel (all swiveling) shopping cart that I pimp around in.  I call it my Rolls Royce.  It's the best that money can buy. :)
