Doc Henry Posted December 27, 2016 Author Share #25184 Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) Contre-jour picture 6 Le Crotoy at sunset Nov 2016 Kodak Ektar 100-M7-35 LA Image8crotoykodektam7la35fecbwlfht+++950.jpg In comparison , curiously the M8 (160 Isos) still has some color in the shadows in contre-jour photos . Surprising ! Best Henry Hi Ian ,like you I love contre-jour in b&w or in color here contre-jour 7 .... very easy with film because of the dynamic : details and color in the shade keeped For the curious and difficult , I have the same in digital > not terrible (M8) Cayeux Nov 2016 Welcome, dear visitor! Doc Henry Posted December 27, 2016 Author Share #25186 Posted December 27, 2016 This was taken last May near Bordeaux - long abandoned windmills, and mill stone. I liked the geometry the scene presented. For what it is worth - XP2, "printed" with Silver Efex Pro. Michael glad see you post again Nice b&w tonality and nice composition Thanks for posting Henry

Doc Henry Posted December 27, 2016 Author Share #25189 Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) A couple of 'lens test' snaps (I recently gave the new' 28mm Summaron-M a whirl outside the Leica shop in the West End). I'm not yet convinced by the ergonomics but I am impressed by the sharpness and flare handling of this lens. Kodak BW400CN. Ian , as I said above and as you know I love the contre jour (like you) specially in the last picture Not easy to shot ! the tonality is a bit different in comparison with the other Kodak films. Is it taken with the new Summaron 28 ? Thanks for your support and for posting Best Henry Edited December 27, 2016 by Doc Henry
