Henry, Adam, and whoever else it may concern

On a more serious note: personally I can't be bothered to carry around a tripod (except in extreme circumstances, for example when I don't have to walk, or when I'm busy with the annual ritual of taking pictures for the worldwide pinhole photography day). This, of course has as much to do with me, the nature of the photography that I do, as well as, perhaps, with the kind of tripod that I own.

In fact, I truly admire your determination and patience in using said contraption, and particularly the remarkable results that you can achieve! Just think of the example above, slugging knee deep in a life-threatening environment (for your equipment) just to get that one brilliant shot!

Who knows, perhaps you will, in the end, inspire me to mend my tripod-less ways?

I wish you continuing good light,

Christoph

I'm back from a vacation in Denmark. I had a rather experimental setup, using a Lomo LC-A, a Rollei Prego micron and for the more serious work a Mamiya 645 1000s. Here is a first "Hello":

...  yes I agree but "sometimes" you need it Christoph :D

It depends on your style.

I took many landscapes with the Apo Summicron 90 and a tripod is

very useful.

Very nice shot Christoph  :) the blur makes the image

Best

Thanks, Gary. Yeah, I joke that after this experience (which I will drag you through :) ) I no longer need to visit Iceland :) (except that I do...)

You're more than welcome to Adam! And it's georgeous, a true photographers paradise! Cheers Chris
