Klaus APX 100 is a very nice film with high definition and nice black

I'll try some rolls soon . In addition it's cheaper in comparison with TX

Henry, this is the old original APX from AGFA, not the new one made by Ilford. And for buying "cheap": We spend thousands, maybe tenthousands of dollars/ Euros/ Pounds in our fine Leica- Equipment but try to save

some bucks with the material...  ;-)

First play with Fuji Acros and Rodinal. Great, much better than Rollei Superpan.

Just Passing By by @McLeica, on Flickr

McL nice this one effect of fast movement and fine grain of Fuji

... and I have a chance too see the photographer  :)

I agree softer in comparison with KodakTX

Thanks Erl....I will go back to the drawing board with these....I will use your edit as a reference to replicate.

MT0227, forgive my interference, but as you are struggling with the color balance I have made what I see as a correction. I removed Green and a bit of Yellow to achieve what you see here. It was all of 5 secsonds work so not difficult.

I hope this helps in some way.

Klaus, I think we misunderstood. I want to say is that I research the film

who has a nice rendering whatever the price. I buy in lots of 10 rolls or more

APX seems to have a sweet rendering while having a beautiful black and a

good definition (sharpness) :)

Leica equipment is quite expensive and it takes him justice taking a film that

makes him honor  :D  and I agree with you

I remind you when you purchase M-A , Leica gives you one roll of Kodak TX :)

Yes, I quite like it. I like the Saint Michel shot. Reminds me of those medievil movies where the castle is still some way off.  :)
