Joachim color is superb with Kodak Portra 160

I must try this color film in the dark

Well done. With tripod ?

Thanks and best regards

Henry

No tripod, there was one of three not blurred. The light in my workshop is quite difficult. The colour of the artificial light mixed up with the natural light produces

quite ugly skin tones. I neclected my closest surrounding for years, but I will try soon with portra.

One of my two apprentices doesn't hate to be photographed

Three planes of interest for the observer.

Engaging interest.

Thank you.

Some medium format color from Saratoga Springs, NY -- They love their horse racing and performing arts.

Makina W67 - Portra160

This bank just celebrated its centennial anniversary and opened up a time capsule from 1916.   They were prepping for the ceremony while I was there.

Exactly 18 years ago this month, I was shooting a series involving the Melbourne Philharmonic Society. I was shooting a Hasselblad 203FE with, as I recall, 100mm Zeiss Planar and 150mm Zeiss Sonnar. I also used 4 studio flash heads, supplemented by overhead top lights on stage, which I lowered on their boom  to amplify their effect.

The whole exercise took several hours to set the lights and then 'crowd control' the musicians.

Here I have selected four images from the session.

Film was Kodak 220 VPH 400.

First image: The choir.

Second image: Portrait of the Accompanist.

"Magnifique" color and pictures Marc specially in the first picture where color and definition are still well reproduced

on the facade, even in the shade.

Thanks

Best

Thank you Joachim for your reply.

Lovely portrait and well done. The edge of the face is soft and natural  by film.

Relaxing atmosphere in this color picture , beautiful green :)

Thanks

Very enjoyable series Erl. I'd be interested in seeing more of your Hasselblad stuff. I particularly like the action shot with the conductor.

I have the same bag in Black  :) .

Taking a break from Berlin and hoping Christoph doesn't mind that I post this of his elegant bag.

Btw, I've posted other photos from the recent and very enjoyable LUF meeting in Tilburg here.

By the way, I believe that Henry is Lartigue in disguise. I just received the new Life in Colour book and was flicking through it when I saw the following. :D
