Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted May 28, 2016 Share #16181 Posted May 28, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Neil M6 with wide angle (28 or 35) for landscapes of Switzerland-Scotland and street pictures .Tele 75 or 90 for portraits without distortion ...and sometimes landscapes or flower in nature that's what I bring when I go on mission or when I travel far (12,000 kms) but for the 6x6 I do not know, I leave it to the gentlemen here to advise you Once I went with only 28 and 50, I regretted because under certain conditions the 90 I miss. Best Henry Henry I only have 2 lenses for my M6 35mm f1.4 and 50 Elmar M f2.8 Hasselblad I have 40mm 80mm and 180mm The M6 is a no brainer "it's going" Blad, I will probably take all 3 lenses and seeing as I will have a car in both Scotland and Switzerland I am not worried about lugging a bunch of gear around as if I need to walk any distance the M6 will go with me and the blad will stay in the car

Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted May 28, 2016 Share #16183 Posted May 28, 2016 Thats the attitude I take. And just to take my time and use analogue equipment is my primary reason to shoot film. Trev I was gun hoo, I could easily take 3k plus pictures a day and have 10 keepers.......... now I take 2 rolls of 120 and have 15 keepers. Here are some of the reasons why I like shooting film Makes me think about what I want to shoot. Once I've thought about what I want to shoot, makes me thing do I really want to shoot that Makes me enjoy thinking about what I want to shoot, instead of just shooting willi Nellie not have the disappointments of sifting through 3000 pictures and hating 99% of them listening to the 503 taking a picture is like sex ...........without the hard work Getting strange looks from the younger generation when I wind on a 135 film developing the film Scanning it or wet printing it The pictures just look so frigging awesome I'm sure there's more, but for now that's why in such a short time 3 months I have grown to love shooting film

christoph_d Posted May 28, 2016 Share #16192 Posted May 28, 2016 Where/what Chris? Intriguing pic. Gary Gary, On the boat from Manhattan to the statue of Liberty. The camera lies - as usual. The Horizon's swinging lens imparts a horizontal fisheye distortion, so it looks as if the photographers in the picture point their camera in different directions left and right of me, when in fact they were all pointing at the statue.
