Great, Chris.

My NYC lab - one of the largest and well-regarded in NYC -  just dropped a bomb on me today and advised me that they will stop completely stop E-6 processing next month.  :o

My heart is broken and I now need to shift labs...

Can you give me the details of the E-6 kit that you are using?  I know you mentioned it before but good luck with me finding it!

Adam it's a shame !

We live in a world of profit and maximum profit, in a world where everything is "right now",

in  a world of stress ...

E6 and the development it pays less ,  as elsewhere Kodachrome , and laboratories stop

It makes me smile because we all come back here to film and I do not listen to my CD (digital compressed sound, with agressive tonality) but vinyl records

Film as disks, it breathes,  it's beautiful and almost all people do not know what is beauty and art

and you are right to love film compared to digital photo :)

Best

4 of 12 rolls left to develop..........looking at what I have developed so far, I am not sure I would use the 040 orange filter again............to my eye its far to contrasty and difficult to tone down in PP wheres the other way around I feel I can add more contrast if needed.

I will keep posting as and when the negs are dry and scanned
