Guest NEIL-D-WILLIAMS Posted May 19, 2016 Share #15586 Posted May 19, 2016 Guys got a question. I'm going to Scotland for 2 weeks and staying with my daughter and future son in law. After that I am going to Switzerland for 11 days then back to the rig. I really want to shoot film for this trip but worry about airport security and screwing up my film. Yes I am sure I can send film online to my daughters place but what can I do after that plus I would either have to take all those exposed rolls of film to Nigeria ( not a good idea) or get my wife to hand carry it back to KL for me....... She ain't going to like that idea. Other option is Leicac S..... But I want to shoot film

She ain't going to like that idea. Other option is Leicac S..... But I want to shoot film NEVER send exposed rolls of films through the mail!! And NEVER put them in the checked luggage. And don't use lead bags, they induce repeated X-ray scanning as they will want to look inside them. Don't worry about film being scanned in the hand luggage. As long you are under 1600 ASA, they will be fine.

Fotoklaus Posted May 19, 2016 Share #15592 Posted May 19, 2016 I never had problems with fogged film, not in Egypt, Italy, Spain, England, Oman, neither in the checked- or hand luggage. When you stay in Switzerland send your films to Photostudio 13 in Stuttgart and let them send your processed films to wherever you want to have them.
