Thank you all for the warm welcome.  :)

Here is some Portra 400 shot through my M6 and v3 35mm Summicron. Shot at McWay Falls along the Big Sur coast of California on our way to Santa Barbara, scanned on my BEOON copy stand and reversed in Photoshop.

I'm still working on my color correction with negative film but the teal color of the water in the cove and the blue water beyond matches my memory. It is a beautiful spot along the coast here. The light was incredible and was just starting to get that golden hour look to it when we were passing through (by no accident - I calculated our travel to coincide with this time of day at this spot!).

Just a few days off and so many good pictures were added to this thread. Great!

Sometimes you only have to go a few hours and it seems like you have a weeks worth of posts to read

A good read Steve, thank you. I too miss the APX films, I was a huge fan of APX100, and to a lesser extent APX400.

I have a roll of Rollei 100, so am keen to see if this is similar.

I went through an experimental phase some time ago to see how close I could get to medium format quality with 35mm film. Some thoughts on Rollei RPX 25 which I processed in Pyro on my website here:

Be interesting to know your thoughts when you've had a chance to assess it, Gary.

Will do Steve, it's in the fridge door, closest to escaping, and every time I open the door I swear I can hear it saying, "pick me, pick me". So next roll of B&W, I will.

Trouble is, the Doc has "prescribed" colour for a while. I'll take my medicine, but eventually return to my love, B&W.

IMHO the clear winner of your Yukki series.  The range of tones and contrast is very alluring, and what you'd expect to seeing in a world class portrait.
