Greetings, everyone. What a magnificent collection of work! So much talent shown in this thread.

 

I seem to have transitioned to shooting film completely of late with my two film Ms - an M4 and M6 - and develop and scan my black and white film at home. I look forward to sharing some of the results of that work here among you fine folks. :)

The following picture was taken some years ago on Tri-X with the M6 and the Summilux-50 pre-ASPH at f/1.4. It is a part of my Alone in Bangkok portfolio, which has just been published on David Alan Harvey's BURN Magazine website —you can see it here. But only three of the photos of the 19 in the portfolio were taken on film..most of the rest were taken with the MM.

Congrats!!!!! Great shot ... we all prefer film here, but we also know there is a lot more to a good photo than the medium used.

I like the photos Neil, but (and of course it is a matter of personal taste), I hate the black rims (Ihope it is the right word) around your photos. It reminds me of a card announcing someone's death and distracts my eye.
