Thank you, used a Horizon 202 with a spinning 28mm exposing a 24x58 frame.

From the same camera, most probably with Velvia:

This is an odd one. It was taken on the same beach as the earlier one (gull shot through trees) moments after the gull left the platform and a speedboat appeared. It all happened very quickly and Provia 100 meant the DOF was too shallow to keep the chair and beach in focus, too bad though I like how the water came out.

From last week..objective was an expansive, old fashioned, tone-rich NYC bridge scene...

GSGARY - let me know when you are online and I have another one for you apropo the Walker Evans 1929 bridge shot that you referenced to me last week.... http://www.mocp.org/detail.php?t=objects&type=all&f=&s=new+york&record=17)

Amazing shot Adam! It looks almost three dimensional!

Adam and Henry, thanks for your kind comments.

Yes it was a cloudy summer sky with rain hanging in the air. Created this odd blueish light. In post I tried to make the scan's colour match how the slide looks on the light table.

This is a very deceptive photo. You would think with the beautiful blue sea and blue sky that the sun was shining and you could have been shooting at Sunny 16, but the colour of the sand looks dour and suggests a sunless sky. It is a them and us photograph - the ones with the speed boat having fun and the chair for the person looking at them. I like this.

Using Perfect resize. The graffiti is not quite in the same class as the recent images from New York ...

I'm also looking for some graffiti but we don't have NY class here Edited by gsgary

Aha, Gary, there you are!

Be on the lookout as later on this evening my time i will post a fun comparison just for you... :)

I'm going to our film group tonight, about 7 of us meet once a month to show slides, talk about new cameras, anything to do with film. You would love it at my friends house there are more Leica cameras than any Leica shop I have ever been in, you only have to mention a camera and he has one probably over 1000 cameras in his house, he has 3 MP 'S one is still boxed and has never been opened Edited by gsgary
