Handheld with my recently arrived Rollei 35SE...

Sorry it's a bit too busy...

Ric

I love it Ric.

It is a bit busy, but you would've waited a long time to get a less crowded shot, so I can understand why you took it as it happened...

Sometimes, when the light and exposure are kind, Tri-X looks fine grained, my current brew of Pyrocat HD 1:1:100 16 mins Semi Stand.

This is very nice, Chris. I think the natural graininess we expect of masonry, along with the way Tri-X handles highlights, adds to the impression of fine grain. A very nice capture of the light.

Eoin, I'm amazed how few of the people in your shots are ever looking at the camera. Here in The Hague I often get evil stares (or even security guards coming up to me)...

These b&w conversions are very nice. I didn't know Ektar lends itself so well to being converted. Are you doing anything more than just desaturating in Photoshop?

Nice, Dirk. The colours are delightful.

Living in a land where Smart Phones are almost a genetic extension (Singapore), it continues to amaze me the total concentration they attract. How quickly the World has changed since the introduction of the brick carphone.

haha, guess where my girlfriend comes from?  :D Singapore.

This time, the wall mural first, as Marc will have no basis to complain...  :p

Very cool couple! In the countryside where I live, you could wait 2 Million years and would never see a couple like this. :D

Hi, Philip.

Singapore is good for this, as people are generally non-aggressive. I get a few looks, but not as much as other places.

All I've done is straight convert to B&W in LR, and then adjusted the exposure where required. I'm amazed that Ektar holds such gradual tone - If I hadn't involuntarily yellowified the whole roll, I wouldn't know that it can produce such a monochrome.
