Rollei 35RF, Voigtlander Color-Heliar 2.5/75, Portra 400

The artist of the fountain of which the horses are a part is rather famous for another sculpture that is

situated outside of France. Do you know Henry?  :)

I'm guessing the Statue of Liberty? If so, those horses are more modern than they look.

These are terrific. The second reminds me of photographs take in the early 20th century by Beakins off the south of England. They were known as Beacons of Cowes and their sailing pictures are wonderful. Henry is a successor.

Thank you Michel.

For these pictures above , it was windy that day even a lot of wind

and I love to see the sea with the waves. Film makes it better than with my M9

Very honored for the comparison :)

I'll look Beakins.Thanks

I like the vanishing points in your composition, Henry.

Switzerland's good for many things, but vanishing points in the landscapes ain't one of them. Too many bloody mountains in the way.

Ric

Ric move to France :)

Northern France is called the flat country like Belgium

Thanks for your nice comment

I stayed the night in Granville once and a local stopped eating his dinner to come out and tell us to park our motorbikes on the pavement so we wouldn't get a parking ticket

Gary come back :)

On Tri-X with Pyrocat HD new F6 with 55/3.5.

Delta 400: I must like  it because I just checked the Delta 400 group on Flickr and have 189 shots on it.

I think I like it best in 120, faster but still low grain.

On 6x4.5 Delta 400 Harvey 777 That's a dirty window not dust spots.

6x4.5 and Harvey 777 Again

Finally one on 35mm:

Loch Lomond view

With PyroHD 18mins semi stand 1:1:100

Great series of photos, very atmospheric - the second one in particular.

David thanks :) you're right

but I remind you , that's film which reproduces fog better than digital

The atmosphere comes also with this nice reproduction !

Another satisfied customer eh, Keith? Nice! ;)

Indeed - three rolls of Acros 100 and one of Tri-X used in the first six days of ownership.  Admittedly there are only eight frames per roll but even so that is high usage for me!  Highly delighted with the results, seventeen of which have been posted in this thread.

Yes, you are right,

It is quite an impressive fountain, with lots of character and beautiful horses!

Unfortunately It is placed much to one side of the place with no room behind.

I am told it was originally situated opposite the city hall, which is the buiding

you can see behind.

Perhaps at night, with suitable illumination it would be possible to visually

separate the entire fountain from its background ... I may try next time when I

am there.

Best regards

Christoph

I have just done a quick google search and see that Rondix is a developing tank or a flat coated retriever and I doubt you develop your films in a dog. I really like the tone in the print - what developer do you use and have you toned afterwards ?

Agfa Rondix 35 is the name of the daylight developing tank. I use HC-110 diluted 1:49 from concentrate and process for 8 minutes @68 degrees. Fix for the same. Film is scanned with a Nikon Coolscan V. Most of the rendering is done on the fly in the scanning software, a small amount of finish tuning is done in Lightroom and the tone is applied there.
