Advertisement Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Hi gsgary, Take a look here I like film...(open thread). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest JMF Posted February 15, 2016 Share #11322 Posted February 15, 2016 Whenever I've looked there doesn't seem to be any compelling bargains (once shipping and exchange rates are taken into account) so you might have been "lucky". The most irritating thing about this is that I have bought and sold this lens many times over the years and the last time I sold the lens (which was the millennium black paint version) I unnecessarily bundled in the 12526 hood that I had bought separately, thinking I was unlikely to need it again. My mistake, I was thinking of the 12524 which should fit too ! I hope you kept the M6 Millennium !
gsgary Posted February 15, 2016 Share #11323 Posted February 15, 2016 What hood are you using on your 35 Summicron ASPH, Bruno? It's the lens I use most of the time but I have mixed feelings about the flare 'arcs' that it seems a little prone to and am thinking of trying a different hood. Lulworth cove ? wattsy Posted February 15, 2016 Share #11324 Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) Lulworth cove ? Yes. My mistake, I was thinking of the 12524 which should fit too ! I hope you kept the M6 Millennium ! I didn't have the body, only had the lens. Which I sold (for considerably more than I paid for it) to buy a Summilux FLE. Not in itself a mistake (the FLE is a fabulous lens) but I ended up missing the Summicron enough to buy another one (my 4th and final! ). Another sheep related photo (taken using the aforementioned 35 Summicron) to get back on-topic (showing photographs).
