Great thought, Steve.  I'm embarrassed to say that I have never used FB.  So I don't know if I will be able to get along with it.  But I will keep an eye on it and wish everyone lots of fun.  Best, Adam

Adam,

Very nice panorama series, I particularly like the third which has an almost staged feeling to it. And I'm amazed that Velvia gave the colours of the first image. I've been meaning to ask you, who is this gentleman camera/lens wizard we sometimes see in your images?

Thanks Philip,

I'm having difficulty getting good scans with reversal film at my local lab, hence the necessary tweaking and the uncommon results I often get. Plus I always do some color correction on my photos .

I often hop on my bicycle and pay him a visit, often enough to have an album on flickr : https://www.flickr.com/photos/talegal/albums/72157637945417085

Thank you Jean-Marc. It must be great and fascinating to have such easy access to a skilled technician. Btw, I didn't mean to say the Velvia panorama looked odd - I like the colours. As for having slides scanned at a lab, I've also had poor experiences with that and much prefer scanning myself to control the colours and the general look of the image.

A selfie (or is that a wefie?) from a light-hearted evening in London, inspired by JM's nice grainy EI3200 image above. I've also gone to 3200 with Tri-X but find it very difficult to get good results with my developers.

I like this one Adam. nice saturated colours and bold lines. Did the person know you were pointing to him/her?

Thanks, Philip.  I don't know if he saw me b/c he was behind me.
