Doc Henry Posted January 6, 2016 Author Share #9283 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) When I look at photos of the banks of the Seine, with the M Monochrome, taken by renowned photographer and the photos with the film, what strikes me the most is the smoothness and structure which are increased and accentuated, making the image "hard" and "flat",Smoothing all the edges making a flat picture (the camera photo software has no nuance) and accentuation of the structure making a hard picture. With my enlarger , this picture posted below is more beautiful with soft lines (no digital scan step) That's the reason I let my 2 M digital cam. in my bag. ....on the banks of the Seine river Kodak TX400 Leica MP 28 Summicron Asph Welcome, dear visitor! christoph_d Posted January 7, 2016 Share #9300 Posted January 7, 2016 This summer I made another roll but with the old Jupiter 8 50/2 and it was even better.... Here an example Cheers, Massimo Massimo, The colour and distinctive grain pattern reminds me somewhat of the autochrome process of the brothers Lumiere. There's a fantastic museum ( http://www.institut-lumiere.org/musee/pr%C3%A9sentation/presentation-english.html ) on this, the brothers Lumiere and on early photography and cinematography in general in Lyon. Adox colour implosion seems to be a film made in heaven for Sonnar-type lenses ... Regards Christoph
