Truly admirable stuff. I don't develop and scan myself but have a small lab called Format Photo in Grenoble to do it for me. I put together a few photographs under a theme called "Vie agricole, scène pastorale" for a local 'Concours photo' and wish to share with the group here. The rich colours from this film are quite at variance with the more pastel shades of Ektar exhibited in the photos uploaded by Adam et al. Or is it just the fairly intense sunlight? Keith - Lovely photo with fine mid-day color balance. In response to your question, many of the color photos that I have posted recently (at least the ones with the sky in them) were taken in the very early morning light, which by their nature will have a more pastel color palette. So I am not sure it is an exactly apples to apples comparison. Having said this, the color palette in your shot here is whatI would expect to see from Portra 400.
