Kleinkamera Posted November 7, 2015 Share #7661 Posted November 7, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica M5 with Voigtländer Nokton 35/1,4. Exposure f/1,4, with shutter speed somewhere between 1/30-1/8, Kodak Tri-X 400@400. Rodinal/R09 1+50. Nice shot, Markus. The motion blur of the performer, the lighting, the grain… it all works well for this image, I think. James

Paris EffelBerg400eps955-lufht+++Mod-4red550cad30-2.jpg Best Henry Hi Henry, From what one can see on the web: The grays look a lot like HP5 to me, and that I like. The grain seems comparably a bit softer and smaller, which is a matter of taste - and motive. Overall it works well for me here. Apparently tests where done whereby people in Monkey suits walked right in front of persons engulfed in a telephone conversation (not even looking at the screen) - they did not notice... Rgds Christoph easy to imagine...... there are no types of tests which would apply here, because it is already very advanced.....

Keith (M) Posted November 7, 2015 Share #7676 Posted November 7, 2015 I was out of the country all Sep & Oct (France & Spain), so lots of catching up to do. Kleinkamera Posted November 7, 2015 Share #7677 Posted November 7, 2015 Nice picture James What place in the Alps ? Best Henry This location is in the mountains here, in Colorado. In this case I was using the small letter (non-capitalized) "a" version of "alpine", i.e., not in The Alps, but rather: adjective 1.of, pertaining to, on, or part of any lofty mountain. 2.very high; elevated. I do wish I was in the Alps right now, however! Maybe soon… James

A miller Posted November 7, 2015 Share #7679 Posted November 7, 2015 The church in the village of Träkumla on Gotland in August. Flickr 203FE 80/2.8 Provia 400X Coolscan 9000 wet mount wow, another very nice technically complex film shot. Very impressive. I just love the motion in the star, the "magic hour" color of the blue sky, and the tension between the motion of the stars and the steadiness of the steeple. I am not crazy about the orange cast on the roof, and wonder whether that can be tamed to have a more natural WB. In any case, keep up the great photography.
A miller Posted November 7, 2015 Share #7680 Posted November 7, 2015 This is one of my favorite photos from your NY series. Everyhing fits perfect, beginning with the light, the bird and the view to the bridges. Many thanks, Marc. I really appreciate it. I envy your middle eastern travels.
