Love the tones of that photo, Michael.

Here's a visually not very interesting photo but it's shot on colour film and not converted to grayscale; I only adjusted the colour balance to make it look monochrome.

This is lovely - visually very interesting. This strikes me as a picture - not a picture of something, just a very worthwhile picture. As I age disgracefully, I become less interested in representation of "something", and more concerned with the creation of a picture in an abstract sense. This is a wonderful example of how I am thinking these days.

Stress generates "free radicals" which are in the brain, the vessel wall etc ... and in red wines (only red wine) there are tannins or polyphenols which are antioxidants that capture "free radicals". Gary is correct in saying that it is also good for the heart and blood vessels as it prevents greases from oxidizing (if oxidized blood vessels, forming atherosclerotic plaque)

Makes me feel better already.

I am in Puglia, and the red wine is going down well.

Burning film in the M6 as well, so plenty of processing on my return.

I'll have to acquire a decent scanner I think.

Thank you Michael, that's very kind of you.

I think it's got to be one of the very best films for that purpose. Impressive rendering indeed [emoji4]

Hawthorn, Dartmoor.

Mythology surrounds hawthorns on Dartmoor.  Not surprising, they're distinctive.

Cinestill has the color of Kodak IMO

Perhaps a little less deep , less vivid than portra 400 but also warm tone and nice color rendering.

(see photo Massimo portrait) but also depends on the shot
