Doc Henry Posted March 24, 2015 Author Share #3742 Posted March 24, 2015 Henry, no I don't I'm afraid. I have nowhere which I can use as a darkroom these days even just to develop negs. Regards John not need much place in his bathroom for example, with a ""shelf" attached to the wall and can fold as a working table. The wash basin or sink in her lingerie will do. That's what I did when I was in an apartment. Now in our house, I have a laboratory for photo http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/2795597-post29.html Develop himself his film is a real pleasure and the film has no scratches. You can always try Best regards Henry Wonderful scale of black and grey on your last picture John Very nice

A miller Posted March 25, 2015 Share #3744 Posted March 25, 2015 A couple of weeks ago I shot what I thought was a roll of Fuji Pro 400H (C-41 film) @ 800 (more like 640) only to find out after finishing the roll and in the process of reloading that I had shot a roll of Fuji Provia 100F SLIDE (E-6) FILM instead!! I went ahead and developed the film at 400, hoping that the results wouldn't be too disastrous. Here are two shots from the roll. I think that, with some tweaks, the film can actually be pushed nicely, and so I purchased 5 more rolls M-A, 28mm Elmarit (pre-asph) Welcome, dear visitor! Doc Henry Posted March 25, 2015 Author Share #3745 Posted March 25, 2015 In the second photo, the color reminds me a lot of Kodak Portra, just as vivid as the KP 400 Nice shots Adam. Thanks for sharing Best Henry

[emoji6] Allen, Provia color is intense as Kodak Portra and is one of my favorite film. This film is also quite expensive. tookaphotoof Posted March 25, 2015 Share #3750 Posted March 25, 2015 Henry, I can't comment on Fuji itself as I have never used it myself. Although, thinking of it I know a drugstore in the neighborhood sells rebadged Fuji. Not sure what type it is though. Anyways, I didn't write I don't like Fuji but I liked the ones he shot with Portra more. Big difference.

tookaphotoof Posted March 25, 2015 Share #3752 Posted March 25, 2015 Off to Hongkong and Singapore coming Saturday. If I don't forget I'll try to find some ISO 400 over there. Also expecting an 18mm Super Elmar and a finder today. Will be one happy shooting experiment during my stay over there!
A miller Posted March 25, 2015 Share #3753 Posted March 25, 2015 Adam, personally I find this having a bit too much contrast for my liking. Prefer your portra shots. [emoji6] Thanks Allen and Henry. Allen - I agree with you 100% I in no way intended to shoot this delicate, highlight hypersensitive film in this manner. My only real point in sharing the images was to illustrate that it wasn't a total disaster (I actually assumed that the images would be blacked out and only barely visible) and that I think that I could visualize some scenes in NYC in which this contrasty chrome look could be cool. To get exposures that are actually usable, I probably would push the film only a stop and a half (300) and expose for the highlights. That's half as much pushing which should dial down the contrast quite a bit. I'll be sure to share some results once I get through a roll like this. Best, Adam
