Thank you for the reply, Henry. Yes, it is possible to develop color negative film (C-41) in normal black&white developer, like Rodinal. I would recommend this for cases of emergency only, although some people do it regularly, as many color negative films are cheaper than black&white films. IMHO it is only useful, if you are scanning the films, as it will give no good results in wet printing.

The dynamics of film versus digital sensor for a photo in "contre-jour" (or against the light) is astounding !

All the details are visible in the shadow.... and no flare Otto :) It can still be seen better on silver photographic paper :).....
