Alexander both are stunning :) Thanks for posting

Amro you are welcome and you are also welcome in this thread by posting your pictures :)

I begin a new series with Fuji Reala film who remind me Kodak Portra 160

Really nice color specially green

FUJICOLOR SUPERIA REALA | Fujifilm Global

as said Bart Zoni in the link above " each brand film is a new sensor "

Channel system around Paris 130 kms connecting the Seine river with basins and various other channels to barge traffic !

a well known place in Paris , in the summer when it's hot, ballads are extremely interesting.

As in this photo, to relax, you can play "petanque" (games of bowls) under the shadow of trees . For the beauty of this place ,

I let pictures in color :)

Hi Henry - Nice shot! Very peaceful and the water is sublime. Is it just me, or are there unnatural green hues in the sky and riverbank. Was thinking that the scene really might have looked something like this...?

Hi Adam, it depends on the places and sky reflections giving some places a different green color.

It's very subtle and only film gives a true rendering.

With my M9 it needs correction because too saturated !

Green Fuji is well suited to this place in my opinion, perhaps also with the Kodak Portra

I return in next spring here again and this time it will be with Kodak Portra

Adam, the photo I posted above is not corrected because the green color of the water is superb as emerald !

In the retouched photo that green color has changed a bit but it could go .The green of trees, it will also.

Thanks for your interesting correction :) in this case , when I add a little contrast or luminosity the color also changes.

It's very difficult to find the "real" color with photo software.

Here is another pictures of canal water

Lovely stuff Henry.

Why I still prefer film to my Digicams, two shots I took last month of a preserved steam engine in Tokyo.

Top shot taken with the M240, second shot taken with the M7 and Provia 100F slide film.

Long live Film.

I've stopped using my Leica M4-P I'm afraid. I've been seduced by the aperture priority mode of my new (to me) Zeiss Ikon ZM. Seeing this is a Leica forum, I'm not sure it'd be appropriate to share those. Though I will find the M4-P photos to show. I'm afraid they're very poor comparing to the high standard on here.

I do want on M6 or M7 but I fear that they are currently beyond my means.

(In fact I only have the 40mm summicron-c — a superb and much underrated lens, so saving up for another lens is more of a priority than getting a another Leica body, when the Zeiss is adequate).

Amro, a good idea to release your M4-P the same camera as Gary :)

The 40 Summicron is a very good well ranked lens.

Can you use the Zeiss lens on your M4-P ?

Beautiful color photos and b&w on your website flickr, specially the cat

It's yours, it's cute ! :)

While the colors of the digital version look neutral and that way also natural, I prefer the vivid film colors! Thanks for sharing!

And now it is time for a sweet break:
