Time to start posting photos from the new (to me) M7:

"Roses for Rose"

I'm not sure which one I prefer. The flowers are lovely in the close-up but the wider one adds more context.

M7, Ektar 100

35 Summilux FLE

My scanner playing up today so these are from the photo lab.

I've not used this lens before on film.

It is very different, more gentle, than on digital.

Very nice.

Kodak Ektar is also a great film and with the 35 FLE a great combo ! :)

I like this photo because two persons probably look at the same thing

and the person in the background has a very expressive attitude :while the lady is sitting quietly to read

Thanks Mark for sharing :)

Leica M6 with Summicron 50mm at f/2 and Ilford XP2 (ISO 400). And handheld somewhere between 1/15 and 1/30, which isn't something that'd be possible with any other camera. I have a feeling the developer slightly over-pushed the development, but other than that fairly pleased with the results.

My first film I've shot in twenty years, so means a lot to me.

Yup. Better than my M4 because viewfinder is brighter and my eyes are older. Other thing is that because of different rewind the upper left is more square to my hand than the M4 with it's slanted rewind crank. In term of sound and smoothness and accuracy of focus. Perfection. More to the point, the coming years wear dings and scratches are mine :-)
