Doc Henry Posted November 27, 2013 Author Share #623 Posted November 27, 2013 As I said above, from what I see with my eyes, the most faithful colors are in the film two photos taken at the same place at the same time (apart from lens) M8 50LA Welcome, dear visitor! tookaphotoof Posted November 27, 2013 Share #624 Posted November 27, 2013 Thanks for posting Henri. A great luxury to be able to choose from so many cameras. Like the photo with the M9 a lot. I'll probably sell my dslr kit. Not sure if I'll be replacing it with a digital M or nothing at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This photo below shows you that eventually colors look like the M9. However, for me, the autumn colors of the film are more faithful and accurate Welcome, dear visitor! tookaphotoof Posted December 1, 2013 Share #628 Posted December 1, 2013 Love the b/w photo Henry. Here I have one shot during my daily walk with the dogs. One of those moments I start doubting if I should sell the dslr, but on the other hand I know I wouldn't take it with me because of it's size. 35mm Proves to impossible to capture a bird though. LeicaM 488 - kestrel by Tookaphotoof, on Flickr Really love the light this time of year when the sun is slowly on its way back to bed. One of those rare moments I prefer color to black and white.

tookaphotoof Posted December 2, 2013 Share #639 Posted December 2, 2013 Gary, I know what you mean, although this photo was taken in Antwerp, about 40 minutes from where I live. People in Belgium are also friendly. Personally, I love UK, their car madness and their uk brands. Just a shame London is a 5+ hours drive for me including the channel tunnel. christoph_d Posted December 2, 2013 Share #640 Posted December 2, 2013 Dear all contributors, and especially Henry I've just discovered this thread, it took me some time to go through, and I like what I see. I am perhaps not 100% in agreement with all that's being said here, but then, for now at least, I am only photographing using film. My criteria has been: would I make any better photos using digital, and, for me, for now, the answer is NO. I particularly like the streets and scenes of Paris (and France in general), and I envy you, Henry for your photographic opportunities, and how well you are able to convert the things you see into memorable images. I spend much too little time there! Anyway, keep this going Best regards Christoph
