I've just bought an A&A half-case for my new M from the Australian distributor for A&A products. Just like the A&A half-case that I had for my M9, this one is solid leather (in fact, made from a double layer of leather – with a smooth finish on the outside and soft/'brushed' on the inside), beautifully made and fits the camera like a glove. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll happily pass on the contact details of the Australian distributor.

The case looks really awesome. I will buy a one for 240 which differs a bit.

There are still some details I don't like about the case, but I believe everyone has it's own vision.

 

M9 case has a line of leather above the display even for Thumbs up version of the case, 240 doesn't.

The other thing I'd like to see with this case is the shape around the upper left and right corner to be squared so it would aesthetically (IMHO) fit the body better, something like A&A.

See in attached photo how it nicely reaches the top of the case and the shape follows the shape of the camera.

 

 

Anyway, Arte seems to be the best choice at the moment, it fits the camera like a glove (at least in the photos).

the M240 AA case is also cheaper than the M9 version. RRP in HK is about US$200.
