Always much appreciated. These jacaranda trees completely transform their environment when they bloom. The flowers do have a slightly sweet fragrance too. The flowering cycle lasts a couple of weeks; these are at their peak now. As they lose their blossoms, the ground beneath them gets a neon purple carpeting. Just spectacular!
