Mr_Jones Posted May 11, 2013 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is this still available to purchase? I keep finding a dead link for it. Anyone know why the books are so rare after such a short time in press?
Advertisement Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Hi Mr_Jones, Take a look here Edwin Puts Leica Chronicle ePub?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted May 11, 2013 Share #2 Posted May 11, 2013 Erwin is his own publisher and the number of books corresponds to the size of his garage.
Mr_Jones Posted May 11, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted May 11, 2013 With respect it is the ePub version of the Chronicle I'm looking for. It was available as a paid for download but I can't find any working links. Shop | The TAO of Leica 2nd item on that page.
Jeff S Posted May 11, 2013 Share #4 Posted May 11, 2013 The hard copy of the Chronicle was still available at Camera Books in the US a month or two ago, in case you were interested. Puts lists a couple of other places to try as well. Don't know about the eBook. Jeff
masjah Posted May 11, 2013 Share #5 Posted May 11, 2013 ... and I always thought that the ePub was Barnack's Bar. (Sorry!)
iedei Posted May 11, 2013 Share #6 Posted May 11, 2013 until Erwin Puts fixes the M5 classification in his book...i have 0 interest in it.

You stand a better chance of finding it if you search for Compendium, which is the title of the full book.
Jeff S Posted May 12, 2013 Share #9 Posted May 12, 2013 Sorry, you said press. You stand a better chance of finding it if you search for Compendium, which is the title of the full book. He wants the Leica Chronicle, not the Compendium. Jeff
jaapv Posted May 12, 2013 Share #10 Posted May 12, 2013 Well, there is only a French translation available right now. I just tried the link to buy it and it took me straight to Paypal. On Erwin's site, right beside the link the OP refers to:: The book “Leica Chronicle” is sold out. A few shops, like CameraBooks, Lindemanns or LFI-Online may have copies for sale. A French edition will be availabe in April, 2013
Jeff S Posted May 12, 2013 Share #11 Posted May 12, 2013 As I mentioned to the OP in post #4, I tried one of the sources Puts linked (Camera Books) and they still had a few copies....and I suggested he try the other outlets if necessary. For now, though, he prefers the Chronicle eBook, if possible. Jeff
