wda Posted April 2, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was shooting scarecrows in my favourite local village this morning when I spotted this lovely Lotus Elise sports car parked opposite a goldsmiths shop. The best I could do was to bag a Digilux 2 shot for car lovers in the Forum. (D2, ISO 100, 1/250sec, f/4.8, Raw) David

stuny Posted April 2, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2007 David - Thank you. I've only seen three on the road over here. Lovely angle and framing, both suggesting it's performance potential.
LichMD Posted April 3, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 3, 2007 David, the Elise is really captivating. As Stuart said there are few of them here in New York, so thanks for sharing this with us. This image is really evocative, lovely composition. Cheers

This image is really evocative, lovely composition. Cheers Stuart and Jeff, Thank you for your comments. It is always rewarding when images stimulate interest in the subjects depicted. I took one other shot, three-quarters rear view so as to give a shade more prominence to the half timbered building on the left side. But somehow the car didn't look quite as potent although the scene was more agreeable with no figures in view. The aspect from the front was tricky with the prevailing lighting; straight into the sun. David
