pauledell Posted March 28, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 28, 2013 Just need to work on my scanning technique to get sharper scans and I'll be happy! A nice shot with great composition and tones. What type of scanner, scanning program and do you scan your negatives more than once? I have found the Viewscan software extremely useful and it allows more than one scan for a single negative. I get mixed results with it - which I'm sure is more my lack of skill with this combination than anything. My 4x5 sheets are generally pretty sharp but have struggled a little with 35mm negatives. I'm going to spend some time this weekend experimenting with the height adjustment to see if I can improve on it. It's definitely me, not the scanner
