You really don't want to give old tired balsam any excuse to separate.  Steve

kevinh Posted October 23, 2014 Share #22 Â Posted October 23, 2014 I recently bought an M3 and I have a couple of questions on this subject. Â Should a 50-75 LTM adaptor bring up the 90 mm framelines? I was expecting this adaptor to leave only the 50mm frame visible so was concerned this might be a fault in the camera's viewfinder mechanism. If this is correct, is there an adaptor type I can use which will only show the 50mm frame unless I use the preview lever? (Currently the 90 mm frame is in view whichever way I move the preview lever). Â My adaptor is generic, not Leitz made. I read a comment in this thread that the Elmar's infinity lock might be an issue with the wrong type of adaptor. Can someone explain the problem and what style of adaptor to look out for to avoid it?
