Jeff S Posted March 15, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 15, 2013 The power clean is only for last resort; normal head cleanings should suffice, particularly if one regularly runs the printer and does nozzle checks. In any case, the cartridges are 200ml, not 220. And one needs to also account for replacing the maintenance tanks (the 4900 has two), as these fill when running cleanings. Remember that the initial charging does not "use" all that ink. It is filling the tubes to the printing heads so most of it will eventually used in printing your pictures.
