juanitodillon Posted March 5, 2013 Share #1 Posted March 5, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone tried using an Eye-Fi SD card on the Leica M 240 yet? I've been using it on my D-Lux 6 and love being able to email a photo to a friend or family member while on a shoot.
Advertisement Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Hi juanitodillon, Take a look here Eye-Fi with Leica M 240. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Overgaard Posted March 5, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 5, 2013 The bottom plate has a plastic part to enable the use of Eye-Fi so it should work. But someone else with both camera and Eye-Fi will have to confirm :-) (But glad to know it works in D-Lux 6)
01af Posted March 5, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 5, 2013 No, I haven't—but the new M's base plate has a plastic inlay over ... umm, under the SD card slot, so radio signals from the card can penetrate the camera's bottom better than the M8's or M9's. Does it make a difference in real life? I don't know ...
Trilogy Posted April 13, 2013 Share #4 Posted April 13, 2013 Yup, works just perfectly :-) The new Eye-Fi Pro X2 (only the 16 GB version is a class 10 card) is a charm with my Leica M (type 240) as well as my D-Lux 6. Wonderful invention. Works with RAW too. And is well integrated with Mac. Very nice.
