Capture One activation fails

Just received my M8. Having a terrible time trying to activate the software. It comes up with a message to the effect that I cannot connect with the Phase One server and to try manual activation. I've done that but cannot get the window to open up for the activation code to appear unlike what their instructional window demonstrates. No matter what I do it comes up with a window that says "A trial version is installed". Should I just blow off the Capture One and use my ACR?

You need to get a user ident and password in order to logon to PhaseOne. The procedure is documented on the public part of their homepage. Then you will have to logon - and they will confirm by sending you a PIN code by mail. And THEN you can finally logon and complete the registration of your license.

John - if you are still having problems, try downloading C1 LE from:

 

http://www.phaseone.com/sandisk

 

and use the following activation code:

 

AU7R-47Y4-RNA9-UKRY

 

This is a free download of C1 LE that I acquired by virtue of having bought a Sandisk Extreme III card. It MUST be used by 31 March.
