rondeb Posted February 19, 2013 Share #1 Posted February 19, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've never gotten this message before... "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." There are some files on this Sandisk 16GB Ext. card that are just fine, but most are giving me this message even though they are showing 36+MB per file - so they are there - just not accessible. Any help? Thanks, Ron

tobey bilek Posted February 19, 2013 Share #2 Posted February 19, 2013 Update camera raw to the version that recognized Leica monochrome. You will probably need CS6 or Lightroom 4.

jaapv Posted February 19, 2013 Share #4 Posted February 19, 2013 Update ACR to the latest iteration. If that doesn't help, run your files through Adobe DNG Converter as a temporary measure. Ask you question on the Adobe forum.
Guest WPalank Posted February 20, 2013 Share #5 Posted February 20, 2013 Out of curiosity, what version of ACR or Lightroom are you running (when you originally posted)?
