gioiscrivano Posted February 12, 2013 Share #1 Posted February 12, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello friends, I just got a X1 and I'm searching on the web for a suitable optical viewfinder to couple to the X1 but less expensive than the Leica one. I have found 2 possibility: 1- Voigtlander 35 mm (well documented here) 2- Oly VF-1 There is another solution but I didn't find any comment here, which is the Samsung OVF1. Does somebody has any experience with that? Many thanx for your help.
Advertisement Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Hi gioiscrivano, Take a look here Samsung OVF1 with Leica X1. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
zenonzinonos Posted February 20, 2013 Share #2 Posted February 20, 2013 I have the Olympus VF-1 and am very happy with it, although it is not accurate for anything closer than 1 metre or so - unlike the Leica viewfinder, it does not have an additional dotted line to compensate for this. nippa Posted February 27, 2013 Share #3 Posted February 27, 2013 Another solution might be a used viewfinder that went on the Lumix LX3/Leica Dluxe 4. That had a brightline frame at 35mm inside the normal frame : at least the Leica version had but I'm guessing that the cheaper Lumix version was the same although it looked quite different.
