rsolomon Posted February 10, 2013 Share #1 Posted February 10, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’m new to the Vlux-4 and enjoying the simplicity and intuitiveness of the camera, with that I am looking for a good workflow and thought maybe someone had tips and techniques to share. I also have a Digilux 2 and Digilux 3 :I’m not much of a computer guy so a one button workflow– if such a things exists would be ideal for my needs. I would suggest reading the manual carefully for help. You may want to print it out to make it easier to review. With all the possible settings on this camera, it can be as complex or simple as you wish. I've found the custom settings C1 & C2 may be set up to suit your needs. They have you download direct from the website. I found that kind of on the cheap side I must say. Lightroom 4 is a good program and compliments the camera well. Hope you're enjoying the V-Lux 4. Second- the manual shows many more "scene" settings than I show on my camera- I only have 18. Is there a way to access the others? Is there a US Leica help line? Goriup Posted February 21, 2014 Share #11 Posted February 21, 2014 rsolomon after you download LR4, I would strongly recommend that you also buy the upgrade to LR5 ( if memory serves me it's approx. $ 80.00 from Adobe). It has a couple of very effective and useful features over the LR4 version. Also, there's a terrific series of tutorials ( free ) by Julieanne Kost, one of the Adobe developeras of the Lightroom software, that I found very helpful.
