llngoc Posted February 4, 2013 Share #1 Â Posted February 4, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received an used 90mm f2 APO and found that the aperture ring can go a little beyond 2 and also 16. It actually feels like there is a "notch" beyond the 2 and 16 ( very slightly). Is this considered to be normal? I have never seen another 90mm f2 in person so any help is appreciated. TIA

earleygallery Posted February 4, 2013 Share #2 Â Posted February 4, 2013 Argh! Not this question again! Â Yes it is normal, nothing to worry about. I guess it's a 'problem' from people not being used to lenses with aperture rings. Â Oh, and welcome to the forum, please introduce yourself to us in the New Members section. TIA Â Some of my Leica lenses have this "play" but not my APO 90 f2 or my APO 75 f2 Â Â Question is - does this cause the blades to slip? Do you see a difference in your images? If not, there is no problem
